Field-trained in prospecting, excavation, plaster jacketing, simple
preparation, field driving, and team coordination at both microsites and large
fauna quarries.

Concept artist for Disney MGM Studios' Twilight Zone Tower of Terror promotional campaigns – designed five distinct horizontal ad formats for the vertical elevator-drop thrill ride, all of which were used on billboards, buses, or other large-format ads.

for Dr. Linda Trueb (Curator of Herpetology) and Dr. Rafe Brown at the
University of Kansas Natural History Museum/National Biodiversity Research
Center. Created all illustration
plates for Dr. Brown’s descriptions of over fifty species of Platymantis
(Philippine frogs) and a field guide to Philippine snakes, in addition to
preparing field tags, maintaining the herpetology collection, etc. Also
illustrated the description of a new species of the blind snake Acutotyphlops,
the gecko Luperosaurus, the flying frog Rhacophorus, and the
skink Sphenomorphis.

Three-week professional
illustration assignment under paleontologist Bill Parker of Petrified Forest
National Park: reconstructed
dermal armor and life appearance of Desmatosuchus haplocerus and Heliocanthus
chamaensis, and illustrated several skeletal elements of Revueltosaurus
callenderi.

paleontological reconstructions of two Cambrian arthropods (Nettapedoura and
Dicranocaris) for use in species descriptions and a Geological Society
of America presentation.

Organized and released The Dream
Is Valid: A Benefit Compilation
for Kiva.org. Featuring 17 artists
from Zaadz Visionary Music, the album is available at Omstream & Bandcamp. All of
its proceeds go to a growing pool of microloans for entrepreneurs in
developing nations. Kiva.org president Premal Shah commented, "The support and generosity of this community of musicians, and everyone
who purchases the album at Omstream, can make a real difference in the lives of
the poor who may not otherwise have access to needed capital to build their
businesses so that they can send their children to school, afford medical care,
and pull themselves out of the poverty cycle."

Wrote the afterword for Paul
Lonely’s breakthrough novel Suicide Dictionary, which Paul called “better than
the book itself,” after integral philosopher Ken Wilber had to decline due to
health reasons. Also wrote the
first movement of "Liturgy of the Quantum Heart" as part of a series
of musical pieces to accompany the book.
