Now on Patreon, Live at Boom Festival, New Live Painting, Technoshamanism at Moogfest, New Future Fossils Episodes, How To Resolve A Paradox

Hello, friends!  A note about creativity and courage:

If you're reading this it's probably because we met while I was painting and I inspired you to stay in touch.  The funny thing is that I've been an emblem of this "daring artistic lifestyle" for several years, but visual art was something I stumbled into as a way of making ends meet. It wasn't a courageous swan dive into the creative life; it was the path of least resistance for someone who'd grown up doodling in class. I've always liked painting but being called a "painter" is like getting stabbed a little.

Now I'm at the point where I either put the emphasis back on my writing and my music, where my soul really is, or I die a little inside. And I'm standing at the edge where I've seen so many people falter, on the cusp of taking that leap of faith and embracing the thing I can't imagine actually paying for itself, and pissing off most of my supporters in the process. And wow, it really IS scary here!

Selling art was never going to buy the life I wanted for myself and for my imaginary future family. (At least, not without my heart in it.) But NOT constantly producing pretty flash for people to consume means stepping out across a chasm with no bridge in sight.

I've set up a Patreon account for anyone who cares about the work I offer and who'd like to see me emerge victorious from this transition with an album and a book and lots of extra podcast episodes.

If I've inspired you at any point I hope that you will join me for this ride, and that I can be – more authentically and deeply than ever – a living example and a catalyst for anyone who's scared to follow what they love beyond the point of sense and into wondrous things...

And now onto the offerings I'm proud and grateful to share with you today:

Live in 360º at Boom Festival’s Chillout Gardens

My concert at Boom Festival's Chillout Gardens was the most amazing gig I've had so far: playing to an audience of thousands in an eighty-foot-tall psychedelic stupa ringed with a six-point Funktion One sound array, stretched fabric and cushioned red carpet flooring on the beach of Idanha-A-Nova, a glorious and glistening lake that literally shimmers with flecks of golden mica.

I played the first set (after a short break) following an epic five-hour dance party by Gaudi – can't ask for a better energy than that – and improvised an hour of music that was alternately spacious, spooky, lively, trancey, woodsy, futuristic, and serene (and sometimes all at once).  For the first time I read some excerpts from a favorite book to deepen and intensify the space of my performance – in this case, William Irwin Thompson's book-length essay, The American Replacement of Nature.

Also for the first time, I included software piano – and recorded the first 25 minutes of the set as a 360º videosphere.  Check this out – you can scroll around and watch everything I'm doing with my pedals, gaze up at the amazing stretched fabric roof of the stage, and look out into the sultry deliciousness of the Chillout Gardens audience:

PS – You can see all of my 360º photospheres from Boom Festival and Portugal here.

New Painting: Eclipse Flower

Astrologically speaking, I have a Pisces Moon.  That means I'm an intuitive, moody, empathetic, emotionally slippery kind of person.  This is true.  And at no time did it seem MORE true than in the final stretch of working on this painting, when a Lunar Eclipse on the exact degree of my natal Moon (24º) cast me into a Persephonic pit of oozing darkness known to the Internet as "THE FEELS."

In every medium, I find myself trying to express the dark-bright beauty of life's messy emotional paradoxes.  Like, for example, the closing track off my first album, "It Hurts So We're Not Dead."  And here we have the visual representation of that:  is it one plant blossoming riotously in the moonlight, or is it two plants fighting one another for supremacy?  Do these distinctions even make sense when it comes to the inherently conflicted inner landscape of emotion?

This piece is for anyone who has ever felt like an alien cactus possibly attacking itself.

Original piece painted live on 40"x30" canvas with oil & acrylic paint pens at the Denison Cultural Arts Festival, SPRATX, and at home from 16-20 September over the Lunar Eclipse.

New Future Fossils Podcast Episodes

My podcast with cohost Evan Snyder, in which we take the perspective of future archeologists digging through the digital remains of modern culture.  What messages of value can we send posterity?  Explore the nature of time and our place in it through the conversations of the unconventional, bizarre, free-roaming, fun, irreverent, and thoughtful kind...an auditory psychedelic to get you prepared for living in a wilder future than we can imagine. Our latest episodes:

Author Kingsley Dennis on the emergence of planetary "new monasticism."
Author Ashley Dawson on the relationship between capitalism and mass extinction.

Both conversations were amazing.  Check them out on iTunes and leave us a review!

Video + Audio: "Technoshamanism" at Moogfest 2016

My talk from Moogfest 2016 was a highlight of my career as a public speaker – Consequence of Sound called it "Easily the most mind-opening presentation Moogfest 2016 had to offer," which is no small statement on a lineup that included virtual reality inventor Jaron Lanier and gender-bending transhumanist Martine Rothblatt.

I think part of what made it so effective was the audioreactive visualization software Synesthesia, transforming my words into flowing imagery behind me while I spoke. You may have already heard this talk as Episode 508 of Notes from the Psychedelic Salon, but seeing it is a very different thing. It was like having a cybernetic collaborator, early AI offering the digital ground to the figure of my presentation.

I've also made the talk's audio available in my own archives as a free download, for which I thoroughly edited most of the "ums" and "likes" so that you can listen to me wax visionary without having to suffer my atrocious Valley Girl dialect. ;)

Time-Lapse Mural Video: "How To Resolve A Paradox"

I had a little fun with the time-lapse app on my phone to capture most of the process while I threw this paint pen mural up in my friend's camper van.  Unfortunately he moved before I could finish it!  But here you are.  Voiceover from my talk at Sonic Bloom 2015, music from my latest album

Hopefully this helps somebody you know that's confused about an either/or dilemma.

Catch Me Live

An intimate show with the amazing musical talents of Daniel Hansen aka RootFlute, who makes his own sacred instruments; and Johannes Rath, the only "guitalimba" player in the world.  Both of these guys are experts in weaving trance-inducing, magical music out of their virtuosic playing – and we're going to mix solo sets with a group jam for maximum effect.  Plus we get a double cherry on top:  live painting by two of my favorite Boulder artists, Martin Cash and Joshua Wine Morriston.  This is my only public concert on the entire Front Range until 2017!  Details and RSVP here.

FINALLY!  I'm teaching a class AND playing an instrumental cyberguitar set at the global epicenter for visionary art, Alex & Allyon Grey's Chapel of Sacred Mirrors.  My three hour afternoon workshop will focus on focusing – that is, how to gather and apply attention – yours AND your audience's – for the benefit of all beings.  Details and tickets here.

For anyone in the New York area who can't make it out for the COSM gig (and also those who can), I'm also playing music for this amazing event with Alex & Allyson Grey, Luis Eduardo Luna, Ralph Metzner, Daniel Pinchbeck, Allan Badiner, Steven White, Esthela Calderón, and my friend Skytree.

"Join leading authorities on ethnobotany, ayahuasca, anthropology, visionary art as we explore the cultural history, traditional and neo-shamanic practices, artistic and literary inspirations, and the scientific, therapeutic and ecological dimensions of the sacred Vine of the Amazon."  Details and tickets here.

New Paintings: Giger's Alien, Spinosaurus, Crystal Egg | Year-End Print Sale | Another Killer Time-Lapse | More Articles From Globalish

"If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you.
If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you."
– Gospel of Thomas

I ordinarily try to space these out and keep things focused, but it just happened that I recently completed THREE new paintings I'd been working on for quite a while, PLUS a time-lapse video, PLUS a bunch of writing for the awesome Globalish.com – so this newsletter's kind of overfull.

Suggestion: open in a separate tab and read at leisure.  There's a lot to dig, here.  Be well and enjoy!

$10 Year-End Print Sale

Every print older than this newsletter is only $10 until 2015 – these above and dozens more, which you can browse on Bandcamp.  If you want to do all of your shopping in one place, I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for you.  Happy Holidays!

The Common Core of Science, Art, & Spirituality
Free Downloads: Music | Narration

A look into my process and philosophy, inspiration and commitment as an artist.  Recorded through Google Glass; soundtrack from my New Year's Day 2014 sunrise cyberacoustic guitar set; narration from my talk at Firefly Gathering 2014.  You can get a better look at the final piece below...

for Govinda, Living Light, Cactus Bath
•  2014.11.14 - 18 – Studio (Austin, TX)

H.R. Giger's alien has haunted me since childhood.  I swear their hives must occupy the bulk of my imagination's dark side.  And now my friends at Synergetic Press have just released a new book, H.R. Giger and the Zeitgeist of the Twentieth Century, by pioneering LSD psychotherapist Stanislav Grof.
It's amazing – both Grof's essay and the Giger art inside, a lot of which I've never seen – and if you would like a copy, enter "Garfield" for $10 off at checkout.

Godzilla Was Real! (Spinosaurus aegypticus)

24"x36" – oil & acrylic paint pens on canvas
Original painting available – email with inquiries
Painted at
• 2014.09.28 – Zelicks (San Marcos, TX) – Fractālà
• 2014.10.18 – Empire Control Room & Garage (Austin, TX)
for Pretty Lights Music Showcase: Paul Basic, SuperVision, Michal Menert, Eliot Lipp
• 2014.11.18 – Holy Mountain (Austin, TX)
for DJ QBert, Jeremy Ellis, Table Manners Crew

Spinosaurus aegypticus was first discovered a century ago, but its type specimen was destroyed when the US bombed Berlin in WWII. We had no idea what this creature looked like, or how it lived, until another expedition recently discovered even more complete specimens. And the truth is weirder than anyone expected: Spinosaurus had a body specialized for living and hunting in a shallow freshwater environment: short, probably webbed hind legs, high nostrils, heavy bones to help it stay submerged...

We are talking about a fifty foot predator with a five foot head and claws longer than your foot. IT ATE SHARKS AND CROCODILES. AND while I MAY have taken artistic license with this painting, it might also have glowed with radiation...

"They proceed to sing objects into existence. Amazing objects. Objects that are Fabergé Eggs, things made of pearl, and metal, and glass, and gel, and when you're shown one of these things, you look at it and you know, without a shadow of a doubt, that if it were right here, right now, this world would go mad. It's like something from another dimension. It's like an artifact from a flying saucer. It's like something falling out of the mind of God – such objects do not exist in this universe, and yet, you're looking at it."
– Terence McKenna

...Printed Leggings, Finally! | The Sunrise Set I Played Inside A Geodesic Dome | New Time-Lapse Video: The Power of Visionary Art

“When you see the Earth from the Moon, you don’t see any divisions there of nations or states. This might be the symbol, really, for the new mythology to come. That is the country that we are going to be celebrating. And those are the people that we are one with.”

Happy Holidays, folks!  I'm grateful for this life, even though I'm not the best at saying so.  But while I'm exercising gratitude, let me extend it all the way to you for simply reading this.  Knowing I have people getting something from my work is powerfully supportive.  May this cold and stressful season open for you like a pomegranate to the recognition of a deeper self amidst the noise, blue sky beyond the leafless branches...

This week: a truly deep, weird, and wondrous sunrise meditation on guitar and pedals; my latest time-lapse video through Google Glass, which doubles as a manifesto for my fellow artists; new leggings, hoodies, shirts, and cases just in time to help Black Friday muddy the relationship between the sacred and profane; and a baker's dozen of new articles for Globalish, the writing gig that lets me wax poetic about cyborgs, psychedelics, yoga, travel, and a world of other awesome things.

Thanks again for reading and feel free to write me any time!

Sunrise: Electronic Guitar for Awakening

"Wow...awesome!"

"Dope. Evolving cyberacoustic experimentation recorded in a geodesic dome..."

"Electic elegance. You got it, keep it up, the world is hungry for the real deal."
– Erial Ali

Misty late spring sunrise meditation music from a sacred grove, improvised and captured live in May 2014 in a geodesic dome at Flipside (Downtown, TX).

Hypnotic, glitchy instrumental ambience throughout which pulsing grooves and wisps of melody mysteriously flicker like ghost animals in the periphery...timeless forest music that explores an utterly unique and haunting tonal landscape, burning slowly and continuously shifting. An album made for traveling through states of consciousness, from quiet somnolence to twirling hypnagogia to urgent wakefulness, a mirror of the coming day.

For fans of Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, Daniel Lanois, Christopher Willits, Adrian Belew, Tortoise, Boards Of Canada, The Books...

New Time-Lapse Video: The Power of Visionary Art

On how to "plant a seed of liberation in the mind-stream of the viewer," to borrow a phrase from Alex Grey.  On art's potential to change the world, set to the POV time-lapse video footage I took while painting "Manna Vesicles."  Links to both the music and the full talk are here.

New Leggings, Hoodies, T-Shirts, & More

I'm grateful to announce that I have finally found someone to print my art on leggings!  Seven new designs to grace your lovely stems are up at Artist Threads, as well as plenty of new goods at RavenectarInfinite Bit, and Nuvango.

Click pics for info/buying options on each new design – they're all on sale right now:

Super Ridiculous $10 Print Sale | MG on "In A Perfect World" Podcast | New POV Live Art Time-Lapse | New Custom Flatbills | Bamboo Pins

"My interest is in the future because I am going to spend the rest of my life there."

"In order to fight a network and win, you have to oppose it with an even more robust and fluid network."
Tea Faerie

I'll keep it brief this time and let the content do the speaking.  Super grateful for you – to have an audience, to know my work is helpful, that it's provoking and inspiring people.  Change is in the air...I hope it's empowering you, sculpting you into a better person – and I hope that my words, music, and imagery can help you hold the vision through that change.

Stay in touch if you have any questions or feedback.  I'd love to hear from you.

~ Super Ridiculous $10 Print Sale ~

I'm about to flush roughly half of the 200+ live art prints out of my online merch shop – and I'm giving everyone an opportunity to purchase FOR THE LAST TIME any of my work dating back to 2007 before I prune these overgrown art archives down to fighting trim.

Until May 15th, every single one of them will be only $10 apiece – now's your chance to scoop up anything you like from my entire history as a painter.  I'll be posting pics from the "cut" pile every day at this facebook event until that day.  Now is your chance to plumb my archives and score yourself some vibrant, inspirational, healing live art at a price most artists would find insulting...

You can check out all of my available 11"x17" poster prints here.  Thanks for taking a look!

~ MG on "In A Perfect World" Podcast ~

My friend, Australian journalist Rak Razam, interviewed me on his recent visit to Austin, and this is what happened – a really fun, exciting conversation – enjoy!

A guided tour of evolutionary hyperspace with paleontologist-poet-philosopher Michael Garfield. How do we communicate the Big Ideas that matter, that can help us survive in the changing paradigm we find ourselves in? Garfield offers a long and provocative burst of synaptic ideation that explores ideas like: mind viruses, transparency-surveillance culture, the technocratic priestcraft, Buckminster Fuller, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, machine super intelligences, Big Mama vs. Big Brother, psychedelics, fembots, romancing Skynet, cryptocurrencies, wearable computing, having sex on Google Glass, cyborg anthropology, mesh networks and the bit torrenting of culture, open source power redistribution, the war on transhuman consciousness, and surfing the wave of chaos...

~ New POV Time-Lapse Live Art Video ~

My newest point-of-view ‪#‎liveart‬ time-lapse video, filmed through Google Glass- turning surveillance technology into the instruments of art - and dropping an ecstatic riff on improvisation and how to surf the changes...

Featuring music from Art Outside, painting from The Parish and Fun Fun Fun Fest, & narration from Unitus Cultural Arts Benefit Festival.  An excerpt:

"Old dogs may not learn new tricks, but the human brain retains its ability to learn and play for as long as we live. And that this is an especially useful trait, because the world we have created for ourselves is one in which everything is just going WAY too fast to believe that it's going to stay the same..."

~ Wear A Painting On Your Head ~

I love making paintings you can wear on your walls – after all, the home is an extension of the self, and where does the body really end?  But you can't take your house with you for a night on the town – yet – so it's a real treat for me to make this functional art that keeps your head warm and dry and inspires like-minded strangers to come talk to you.

Click to take a closer look at these high-resolution pictures, and drop me a line if you'd like one of your own (or want me to paint something else – I'm receptive).

~ Laser-Cut Bamboo Pins ~

One of my favorite things about living in the future is how quickly ideas become real objects.  My friend Jamie Greene of Biomorphics produced a small run of these lovely pins from my album art for 21st Century Romance – from hand sketch to digital fractal to laser engraving program to totally nontoxic (zero volatile organic compounds) swag made from renewable materials, just like that!  They're super light, deliciously textured, and come with a free digital download of my latest and most powerful recordings in almost any file format you can imagine.  Only 100 in the world.  :)

Thanks again for reading – I love you!

New Time-Lapse & Live Looping Videos | Poster Prints Now Only $10 | Beatles Hat | Seeding the Ideapod | I Heart Doge

"welcome to tomorrow / where the currency is art / everyone is filthy rich / problems are solved through listening / ears tuned to neighbors heart"

I've had a lot on my mind recently.  After years of blithely assuming the answers, I'm taking a new look at the questions:  Can music festivals be incubators for social change?  How can we use entertainment for the greater good?  Hopefully asking the new community growing at Ideapod will generate some good conversation around these issues and others as they come to me...

2014 looks like it's shaping up to be fewer, more deliberate shows, more integration and grounding.  Deep change with my art, music, and writing is in the works.  My work as editor-in-chief for SolPurpose is about to step up in a big way as our humble website starts to gain momentum.  (Tune in to our facebook page if you want a daily dose of inspiration and constant new exposure to awesome visionary art.)

In the meantime, I'm as available as ever for correspondence and custom work.  Email me.

Now before I shower you with new work, here are a few upcoming gigs I'm excited about:

• 04/02 - The Parish w/ Zach Deputy & Henry + The Invisibles
• 04/12 - Texas Wild Rice Festival w/ Dixon's Violin, Ashleigh Stone, ARTheism, & more
• 04/22 - Greener Choices Festival w/ Sheer Khan, Blunt Force, & more on a Solar Stage

And here we go!  Thanks so much for reading.  I couldn't (and wouldn't) do this without you.

What I See When I'm Painting – A New Time-Lapse Video

The next in a series of point-of-view videos taken through Google Glass while painting and scored to tunes from my latest album, 21st Century Romance.  This track and the accompanying voiceover were recorded live during my set at last year's Art Outside Festival, one of the nation's uncontested best...

Transcendental Electro-Blues w/ Topher Sipes on Live Visuals

Like Indiana Jones, I managed to slide in under the door and play a gig at San Marcos' legendary Triple Crown right before the building's scheduled demolition.  Here is an especially juicy clip from my first show with my good friend Topher Sipes on live digital animation...more of this to come!

All 11"x17" Prints Are Now Only $10 Each!

I decided after seven years of being stubborn about what I'm worth to cut the price in half on all my prints.  It's more important to me to make my art available to everyone who wants it than to stand on some pretension about "fair market price."  Enjoy browsing over 200 paintings dating back to 2007.

Thanks for your support!

The Beatles Called & Told Me They Dig This Hat

I was so, so happy to feature the imperatives from some of my favorite songs on this homage.  Not only was it a fresh opportunity, but painting custom hats pays most of my bills, these days.  If you want something totally unique and YOU, let me know!  It would be my pleasure.

Go grab a Dogecoin wallet and learn about the fun new cryptocurrency designed specifically to encourage a culture of gifting:  http://dogecoin.com  Then tip me some DOGE if you're feeling such generous!  Or you can buy a sampler of my favorite tracks from 21st Century Romance for 1000 Doge, which is, like, next to nothing.

~ Your Face ~

Live painter Christopher Morphis is a dear friend and an inspiration...and it tickles me to no end that he's such a fan of my music that he sometimes drives HOURS to paint at my shows.  Here he is at the lovely Head For The Hills Festival last month, working on the portrait of me with Google Glass he started at Rootwire 2013.  Go Morphis!

And that's a wrap.  I love you guys.  Take care of yourselves and stay in touch...

New Time-Lapse Live Painting Video | Preorder My New Album | Free: Live at Whip In | Remastered Painting | New Hats | Gratifly Videos

"Elites aren't defined by birth or wealth, they are people with a project, individuals who want to do work they believe in, folks seeking to make an impact. Averaging down everything we do so that it becomes cheap and ubiquitous and palatable to all is a hollow goal."

I'm just going to apologize right now for overloading you with awesome new stuff over the next couple of weeks.  This year finds me on an incredible creative roll and I feel like I'm doing my best work ever, faster than ever before.

If you don't have time to read this whole newsletter – and I certainly understand if that's the case – then please watch this time-lapse live painting video, download this free live album, and check out this sweet painted fedora.  I'll have more videos and music and artwork I am proud to share with you next week.  Feel free to reach out to me with your own artwork, or questions, and have a beautiful day!

Oh, and also!  If you know of any festivals I should play this year, please let me know.  I still do all of my own booking, it's hard work, and I can use all of the help I can get.  I really appreciate your input.

Time-Lapse Live Painting through Google Glass
Share on FB | G+

I finally made good on my promise to Google Glass to film my live painting #throughglass and share the video. Here is that time-lapse – taken while painting "Inner Light" at Rootwire Festival and the Dallas Be:Tribe Gathering in 2013 – along with a preview of my forthcoming electronic guitar album (which you can preorder here) and a bit of a manifesto-rant on the importance of taking something home with you from your festival experience...

Laser-Engraved Bamboo Pendants + CDR Physical Package

My buddy Jamie Greene at Biomorphics is helping me make these delicious laser-engraved 2" pendants for the physical release of my forthcoming album, 21st Century Romance, to be released on March 4th.  (The pics above are of the prototype...I'm open to your feedback on whether this would be better with a leather cord or pin backings so you can wear it as a hat pin.)

Live at Whip In

Heart-spearing pathos, virtuosic fingerstyle acoustic guitar, and ecstatic live electronic improvisation come together in this definitive live recording of my set at Whip In on January 9th, 2014 – the belated second anniversary of my first concert in Austin (and birthday party for me, David Bowie, Elvis Presley, and Stephen Hawking).

This album features two new live looping improvisations as well as the first public performance of the song "Signal," first-ever recordings of "Really," "Gatecrashing," and a new guitar arrangement of the fan favorite, "It Hurts So We're Not Dead." A true landmark recording in my development as a performing singer-songwriter and avant-guitarist.

This painting hung on my wall in its original form for over a year...and I just hated, hated looking at it.  Every piece goes through its awkward adolescence, but sometimes I think it's done when it's actually not, and then eighteen months later I get fed up, take it down, and work on it until I'm finally satisfied looking at it.  No compromise!  I'm happy with this piece, now.

If you live in Austin you can go check it out, along with a few other pieces, in its new temporary home at Lunar Mattress on South Congress.  What?  Yes.  This furniture store is also an art gallery.  :)

New Painted Hats

Now that I am refusing Bassnectar commissions, hat work has been a little slower-going.  Sigh.  Come on, people!  I want to do something totally unique and YOU.  You'll be glad in twenty years you challenged me with something different that grew along with your musical tastes.  (No offense to Lorin, whose work I admire.  But a man can only draw so many bass drops before he goes mad.)

If you'd like a hat, drop me a line.  You're helping me pay rent, and I love to beautify your domes.

Triceratops T-Shirt, Salamander Painting, New Time-Lapse Videos, Dialogue w/ Marc Gafni

“Art tells the jokes that science insists on explaining.”

"Every creative act empowers every other creative act."
Alex Grey

I set two intentions for my art last year:  make it available on clothing; and paint pictures of local Austin animals to raise awareness of conservation issues.  Both of those dreams just came true.

Plus, I'm participating in a dialogue next week on art, culture, and spirituality with acclaimed author and Kabbalah expert Dr. Marc Gafni – and I've been playing with my new GoPro camera and have some fun time-lapse videos for you.  Thanks for reading and have a magnificent weekend!

Austin's Barton Springs is home to a totally unique salamander that exists nowhere else in the world. I painted this to raise awareness of the valiant efforts by Save Our Springs Alliance to preserve the habitat of this beautiful creature, and to alert people to the importance of the Edwards Aquifer in general – which is also the source for clean water for millions of people, and is currently endangered by both deregulated development within city limits and secret fracking about 40 miles west of Austin.

Wherever you live, take care of it. Other creatures depend on you.  If you live nearby, you can support the Save Our Springs Alliance by donating here.

BusToShow SXSW 2013 Mural Time-Lapse

For SXSW in Austin this year, my live painter friends and I decided to go big and paint a mural on the side of a bus.  BusToShow let us borrow theirs – they use this decommissioned school bus to provide safe rides to and from concerts across the country while raising money to support the arts.  We set up in the side yard outside Whomp on South Lamar and The Boston Boys were gracious enough to join us with their tasty live music while we worked.  It was one super magical afternoon.

We didn't get to finish the mural, though – so stay tuned for part two!

Jurassic Park Tattoo Time-Lapse

It doesn't take a genius to realize I am one fierce dinosaur fanatic.  Here's to hoping the people at Universal Studios appreciate my new ink (courtesy of Lily at Austin's Golden Age Tattoo) enough to give me a free ticket to the 20th anniversary 3D re-release of Jurassic Park...!  Either way, my slain dragon now rides shotgun, forever.

Join me for a conversation with Dr. Marc Gafni
on Visionary Art, Transformational Culture,
and Unique Self Expression

This coming Tuesday, April 16th, I have the amazing opportunity to join Marc Gafni for a discussion on the transformational power of visionary art and the evolution of planetary consciousness.  Marc is the author of Your Unique Self, a groundbreaking book that examines the role of the ego in spiritual evolution and how to live as a whole, balanced person – embracing the whole spectrum of human experience.

If you're as curious as I am to explore how the Unique Self teaching applies to creativity, community, and identity in the electronic age, then join us on the call this Tuesday at 8 pm Central.  Details here.

That's all for now.  More great news to come – thanks again for your time and support.  You know where to reach me...
